Terms of Use
Effective October 7, 2026
Scrolly Bible is free, has no account, and keeps everything on your phone. These terms explain the few things you should know when using it.
Using the app
Scrolly Bible is provided free of charge by RSApps for personal reading and reflection. You may use it on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's terms.
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
Free, with no purchases
The app has no price, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. We don't plan to change that.
The Bible texts
The World English Bible, Berean Standard Bible, King James Version, American Standard Version, Young's Literal Translation, Bible in Basic English, Darby Translation, Webster Bible, and Geneva Bible are in the public domain.
The Literal Standard Version is © 2020 Covenant Press and the Covenant Christian Coalition and is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license.
The texts were obtained from eBible.org. Translation names are used only to identify each text.
Your notes and data
Everything you create, including notes, bookmarks, highlights, and reading progress, is stored only on your device. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it.
Deleting the app deletes your data. You're responsible for exporting a backup (Settings → Your Data) before you delete the app or switch devices.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to present each translation accurately, but we can't guarantee the app will be error-free or always available.
To the extent the law allows, RSApps isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including lost notes or data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms ever change, the new version will be posted at scrollybible.com/terms with a new effective date.
